bunches of more questions, I'm sorry I ask too many at times. Ok do you change the substrate out? do you manually water the plants or does the waterfall pump also pump water to the plants. if it's all tied in together won't the plants make the water murky?

so the plants are actually planted in the back foam piece and not the bottom?

What type of pump did you use and the lines you just have dripping into the "plant pots"?
plus water flowing into the waterfall base

Ok when you say drip stick I assume it does what it says drips. where does it drip to? and then you have a steady stream for the waterfall. correct?

is the drip stick something you made? I'm thinking fake plants for now then later on changing to real. I still would like to have water dripping on the fake plants.

ok I added a zoo med mini combo deep dome light fixture. a red 40 watt nightime bulb and a 25 watt appliance bulb (all I had)
I added a petco humidity gauge and its reading a little over 70.

changed out my substrate to coconut fiber. I bought the compressed brick and one brick done the 10 gallon with extra left over. can I save this for next time? I found out the compressed brick is a little messy but I got a 3 brick pack for $10 compared to a dry bag that equals one brick for the same price.

I've got the white bulbs on from 7 am to 7 pm and red bulb from 7 am to 11 pm
    this good?

I think I'm gonna make a acylic piece to cover the lid cause I'm afraid the light might get slid over and melt the tape
    Just a thought

I also bought some adhesive black background and put it on one side (side with bark and plant) and on the back

I don't have a thermometer in it yet :-( I should have bought one.
leaving the red bulb on at night doesn't bother him? I thought they needed a period of complete darkness?
ill change mine and let the red on 24 hours
