Yesterday I discovered my mealworm breeding setup had been taken over with tiny white mites. I'd been using oatmeal as a substrate, giving them carrot chips but not really removing any. Eggs were laid, and I'd been hoping to harvest some babies before the move but dumped them all out in the yard, bins and all. Not a big loss, but some migrated into baby dubia bin. Not as many but those were the last of my dubia feeders and I don't want to waste them.
Fed the 2 toads just now with as many as I could get from dryer part of bin, shook em up with calcium and removed the bowls when they were done. I don't want these awful things invading the toad tanks.

We sing with our heroes 33 rpm, we're never goin home until the sun says we're finished,
