I'm wondering if this isn't an accurate measurement method. I looked at Walmart at the ones you stick in and float, but those had a bunch of stuff in them that made me nervous for my frogs. Any suggestions on other thermometers?
I use glass thermometers in all my tanks. They're pretty accurate, but I also dip a catering type digital thermometer in to test the water when I want the most accurate measurement. I'm not sure how much they are in dollars but they're only about £5 here.
