DumDum my dumpy

I hope that I'm doing this right. Someone just gave my son a dumpy tree frog. I know NOTHING about it. Dont even know what sex it is. So, this is the reason for the name "dumdum" Alright, so i have it in a 10 gallon aquarium, I have a good size "water hole" in it for him to get in, I give it crickets every night, between one or two. It is not eating, and it just sits on the top side of the tank, all day every day.... He moves spots, so i know he or she is moving... Do I need to find another one to keep him company and obviously get a bigger tank? what am i doing wrong??? I do not have anything other than a REAL oak limb in there to climb on, and it doesn't like it... never touches it. What do i do to make it happy? i hate to see it sad.
