I scooped up some of these little guys when they were teeny tiny about a month ago rom my makeshift polliwog pond in Baltimore MD. I put back most of them and kept just a half dozen of the biggest so my kids and I (well mostly me) could enjoy watching them grow and figure out exactly what kind of froggies they would become. I hear nothing but the joyous cacophony of gray tree frogs outside every night but I have seen Bullfrogs, Northern Green Frogs and Fowler's Toads so who knew? Anyway these guys look like they're shaping up to be Grays, I'm pretty sure. Any thoughts? If so, I'm probably not going to keep any, since they need so much room and they tend to be very nocturnal and hide mostly, from whatI've read. Any suggestions on the most kid-friendly (such as it were) amphibians would be most appreciated! I've enjoyed being a frog detective for sure.
