Your photographic skills are amazing Colleen! Care to share how you set-up those shots? Thanks for share, love your frog and snails
.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thanks guys
I shot these on a Nikon DSLR using a macro lens. The animals were placed on a piece of black reflective flooring (the same type was used in the background). The lighting was done with a hotshoe flash in a softbox, positioned overhead.
The only one I was a bit concerned with shooting was the Pacman, as I didn't want to stress her out. After firing off about a dozen shots, she turned her back to the camera, and I took that as a sign that she was "done". She had a nice mouse the next dayBesides doing a shoot with the fire salamanders, I'm also thinking of a doing a time lapse with some of the White-Lipped Snails. Snails on Speed. It'll be interesting, yet hilarious.
