Default Will my pacman ever get used to me?

When ever I open up his cage to feed him he ducks down and breaths rapidly. Whenever I open up my cane toad, or african bullfrogs cage they look up waiting for food. It sound silly but it quite upsets me to think I scare him. How can I make him gain my trust? This is him.he is healthy and humidity and temp are fine.

what a beautiful pacman. as long as he/she is feeding I wudnt worry. you using tweezers/forceps? try talking to him/her, but gently. every frog has a different temperament I find. how long have you had it?

Some Pacman Frogs can be quite skittish and others could care less if you are moving them around or moving decor around in the tank. I still have a couple that will duck down and breath heavily upon me opening their enclosures, but speaking to them does seem to help by getting the frog used to your voice. One thing that is always a good idea is to feed the frog in the exact same way everyday down to your very movement. This makes the frog feel secure because it will recognize it is feeding time.
