    Default Bullfrog feeding

Would worms, crickets and Dubias make a good staple diet for a few weeks. I'm saving up for something which will take at the most three weeks so I will be cutting down what I feed my bullfrog. Obviously I'm not cutting down the amount of what it eats just the variety. So would crickets, Dubias and worms make a good staple diet for about two weeks?

dubia and nightcrawlers( earthworms) are the best staple not just for a few weeks but as long as frog lives.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Agreed! Also the occational pinky or fuzzy doesn't hurt when the frog is large enough to take them.

Well that's a relief. I just didn't know whether that would be a good diet or not. He/she is used to Dubias, worms, Waxworms, crickets, locusts and the occasional Morio worm. Also are pachnoda good mixed in as staple with Dubias and worms or just as treats?

Size: 71.7 KBThanks, I think I'll try a pinky when its around 4 inches. It's just a baby right now, think you can sex it? The pic of the really small one was it 2 weeks ago. I find it fascinating how quickly they can grow.

You are correct, it is indeed a male. It croaks every night and I am having to get rid of my Cane Toad because of its appetite.
I'm only sixteen and only get an allowance of 10 quid (15.26 dollars) a week and can't afford to feed all my pets.

Oh wow...that sucks ... Well at least you are able to keep one thriving. It's only fair for you and the frog so don't feel bad. Post some updated pics though

I've already fed my baby a pinky, it gulped it down in two bites, I specifically picked out a tiny one though.
