Here are some pictures of my 7 1/2 year old acf. Notice the bulge on his left side in some of the pictures. What could it be?
Sorry for the lack of replies.
I'm thinking possibly an impaction. However, I'm not sure. Impaction or not, that does look strange.
First off, has he been eating normally, acting normally, and pooping?

Thanks for your reply, He eats 4 or 5 reptomin sticks a day, and he does poop regularly (every couple days). He has trouble swimming upright sometimes and he rests on his right side on the bottom sometimes. In the day he hangs around the filter at the top and at night he swims a lot. Probabley normal behavior for this type of frog.
I have to say I am baffled. It can't be a nutrition issue because it sounds like he is being fed properly, water quality us good, set up is more than adequate with no substrate.....you see this every now and then and it always seems to be albinos. Perhaps it is genetic. These guys were over breed and line breed for labs in mass quantities at one time. Perhaps some of that is still around?
Maybe I am just being overly protective, I just don't want him to be sick.
