I've had this problem with guinie pigs, and mice before. Apparently our immune systems are similar enough for me to give them my flu/cold. (Which usually results in death.)
Could this happen to my frog? (I ask because I have a fever right now but I have to feed him tomorrow. Even if I wear gloves mice and other small mammals could still get it from my fever+breath.)
No. You can't give your frogs the flu or a cold.

The spring show is more amphibian heavy than the fall show. On the plus side I think the Maine Herpetological Society has a show in August. See their site for information, there is a link for it on our links page.
