    Default My Homemade Mister

I just wanted to share my homemade mister. It cost me around 25.00, I haven't put it in the tank yet but I have tested it and it works beautifully.

So what I did was take one of these pump sprayers:

Then I cut off the end of the sprayer and attached these brass fittings:

There is an adapter 3/8" to something else can't remember, but it's 7 pieces all together first nut, tube holder thing and tube insert, the adapter, and the same thing on the other side only smaller obviously.

This is the misting portion, got it off eBay for like 10.00:

So once you have all that you'll end up with this:

It works awesome but you have to figure out the pressure, overall though if you are poor like me, it's a pretty inexpensive way to get a rain/mist system.

Hope I helped! If you have any question feel free!

Awesome idea, I was thinking of doing a similar thing, but was unsure as to whether it would work.
Just one question, how are you then attaching the mist heads to your tank? Silicon or just free hanging?
I hope to see some future updates!

I used a 1/2" piece of PVC pipe, cut it in half, drill holes to place the heads through and then mounted that on the inside of the tank with zip ties. This way I can adjust the direction of the spray if needed. I used the center bar of the tank as the mounting fixture.

    Hope this helped!

I'm thinking a video on this would be extremely helpful. Love the idea.
