African Dwarf Frog Amplexus Question

How often does amplexus take place? My daughter brought home two of these from school as babies back in November, they are a lot larger now, started doing amplexus around a month ago, it seems like they do it for a few days, take a week off and they are at it again. They took this past week off and are doing it again already the past couple of days. I thought I read someplace that it isn't good for them to do it so often if they are less than a year old, but now I can't find where I had read that online, and can't find any info. at all about the frequency at all. Anybody know? Thank you!!!

Welcome to FF Shan and sorry your thread got buried by others. Have not read continued amplexus could hurt a frog; not that it could happen. Have they laid eggs?
