I'd like to raise half a dozen or so tad poles. Is there any place I could buy from?

If you are not looking for a specific species many online science supply stores sell tadpole raising kits. Otherwise you can check with breeders like Alpha Pro Breeders however, most breeders will not ship tadpoles. I'm sure someone here will be able to point you in the right direction.![]()
Where are you from?
Check your local ponds - I was in Virginia last week and there were piles of tadpoles to be had. Just be aware that you may need a fishing license to collect them.

You won't find those in your local ponds.![]()
Short of breeding them yourself, you won't be able to acquire African Bullfrog tadpoles.

Thanks for the info. So my best bet is a few small frogs at a reptile show? I really would like to start out with a group to ensure I get a male. Local shops sell them a bit high for me to purchase many

the frog ranch breed them an di bet if you contacted them would give you some
thefrogranch.com
African Bullfrogs, Clawed Frogs, Salamanders, Newts, Bearded Dragons,
thefrogranch.com is a wholesale distributer. I believe the minimum order is $300 or $500 I can't remember for sure. I guess it is possible that they would sell you some tads but i would keep looking elsewhere. I have found distributers much harder to work with than small breeders are.
