New to this

Hi,
Me and my daughter found a big puddle that was almost dry and had lots of tadpoles in it. We were able to get 3. After a few days only one was left and he is doing very well. We fed him fish food and boiled lettuce. Took him about a month to get his legs and arms and we then transferred him to, what the petstore calls, a reptile carrier. As soon as he got in there he hopped out of the water and started doing tiny hops. After a few days his tail went away and we started feeding him flightless fruit flys (of which we have wayyyyyy to many of).
Anyway, here is some pictures. We have no idea what kind it is. Ideas?
