Without question a MALE! I have never heard of a 7" female! He should have made noise by now though! How old is he?

ive had him for just over 6 months and this is him the day i got him he was about 3 inch definately not made a sound

He just hasn't had the right conditions to call. Mine began calling at 4" and now only calls occationally. It is a very low deep call so if he is calling you could easily miss hearing it when you are asleep.

I've heard male bullfrogs calling my friend has several but this guy hasn't yet I moved his viv into my sons bedroom a while ago for this very reason cuz my son has sleeping issues and the slightest noise wakes him up,maybe the conditions are the issue I'm about to move him into a bigger viv with a much bigger filtered pool so maybe that might make him pipe up,thanks for the comments
