I need help with finding a Gray tree frog. I have had no look looking for the past 3 days. I need strategies and suggestions on how to catch one. Traps or any other strategies will help! Post everything you got!
One trap i know people use for coqui frogs and cubans is using a six inch PVC pipe with a two inch whole in the middle and covering the bottom. this dosent totally trap the frogs so they can leave if they want but its a good hiding spot, its dark and wet in there. leave it outside in a tree overnight where you know tree frogs are and come in the morning. if this dosent work i suggest going out in the woods with someone frogging in the late afternoon.

1.0.0 Correlophus cilliatus
2.1.0 Bombina orientalis
0.1.0 Ambystoma mexicanum
0.0.1 Ceratophrys cranwelli

1.1.0 Dendrobates auratus "Nicaraguan"
0.0.2 Dendrobates tinctorius "Azureus"
I always find them on the rim of my pool. Try looking in the crouches of the tree (V parts), also in the leaf litter.
You could also just get a cheap kitty pool and set it up. The should come around to breed.
Hope it helps!
