I had recieved a small froglet last saturday (8/6/2013) and is now getting
his tail mostly absorbed and only a small stub is left and is bright green and
about an inch and a half long. He is in a 15 gallon tank half filled with water
and has large rocks sloping to the side breaking the surface. I understand
that frogs use the energy from their tail for energy reserves but should i
be feeding him now? and ive noticed that he stays in one pace ALL day.
I see him one spot when i wake up and the same spot when i come back
from classes, is this the sign of a stressed frog? should i do anything
with his terrarium?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Ryan! What kind of froglet is it? Also, can you describe terrarium set-up? If tail is almost gone, you can offer a bit of food and see if it will take it.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Hey carlos. the froglet is a bullfrog ( Rana Catesbieana) and his terrarium
is a 15 gallon half full with rocks and two bricks sloped to one side of the terrarium breaking
the surface slightly with some live lilly pads and fake grass plants

You will probably need a 30 gal. min. when it grows. As long as it starts eating when tail is absorbed, it should be OK. I have not kept American Bullfrogs; but not moving the whole day and not responding to your presence sounds weird.
