Okay so now that I've read through the Care Sheet here I've gotten down to buisness. My new Western Toad should be pretty happy, but I really would like some opinions from ya'll if that's ok ^^ I'll make a list of all the things I've already done for him and you guys can tell me if I'm missing anything.
1) A 10 gallon terrarium (thinking about using a taller plastic storage bin as the terrarium is not good in height)
2) Moist soil as substrate hat is, I will admit, not deep enough for burrowing(I'll need to fix that)
3) A water dish for soaking which he has already taken advantage of
4) An old lizard house for a Hide
5) Plants that he had hide in and that hold moisture well
6) I mist the tank when I see it's getting dry
So how is it? I know I have a few obvious flaws with cage height and the fact he can't burrow much, but I plan to fix that ASAP. Other than that am I missing anything? Any suggestions?![]()
