Does anyone know if crickets can be kept outside in the shed or garage
As long as there are no pesticide or chemical fumes in there and temperatures are within their requirements it should be fine. For adults you want them between 75-85F (24-30C) but keeping them at lower range extend their lives. Smaller crickets prefer it a bit warmer at 80-92F (27-33C). Pinhead development will slow down if kept at lower temp range.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Hmmmm might not be a good idea I live in england lets just say 75 is a good day most of the time the temp is in the 50s
You could potentially keep them in a garage if you keep them in an insulated bin. I'll try to dig up the old thread, but one member housed a colony of feeder cockroaches in a garage by keeping them inside of a plastic storage bin; that itself was inside of a larger bin insulated by layers of blankets and other material. The bin also had either a strip of flexwatt heat tape or a UTH with it as well to provide supplemental heat.
