    Default New Western Toad owner from California! :D

    Hi Ya'll! I know this is a "Frog Forum" but I just got a Western Toad and I'm kinda confizzled as to how to take care of him ^^'' I'm a worry wart (no pun intended) and I really would like some opinions on what's best for him.

    Other than that...my name's Auttie and I hail from California I love animals and have quite a few of my own. I hope that I'm welcome here and that I can get some help with my toad

    First off welcome to the forum Auttie! toads are a type of frog
    but not all toads are frogs. theres a care sheet on Ground dwelling toads
    on the care sheets page, hope your new pet is well!

    Hello and welcome to FF Auttie! Here is link to Care Article you need to read: Frog Forum - Toad Basics - Keeping ground-dwelling Toads. A care sheet for Bufo, Anaxyrus, Spea, Scaphiopus, Ollotis, Alytes, Pelobates. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you need about toad .
    Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !​

    Thanks so much for the warm welcomes guys! ^^ That care sheet definatly helped and I'm going to try some of the things I found there I'll make sure to ask if I need anything else. I want Mr. Toad to be as happy as possible (real original name I know XD )

    I wouldn't mind seeing a few photo's of your little guy, I've been interested in keeping a Western Toad for a while now
