As for the Grey tree frogs, if I am correct and they don't readily eat dried and prepared food, that makes them the kind of pet I'll have to re-home every time I leave. Leaving to go camping for two weeks during the summer is almost guaranteed.

I live alone and the fish here are left with automatic feeders when I go away. I've got two goals I'm training for right now; finishing the long trail and doing a cross state camping/bike trip. I can't have any critter during the summer hiking season that cannot be left during these times. I'm not sure how difficult these frogs are to re-home on a seasonal basis for backpacking.
You can quarantine your frogs (like with any fish addition) for 30 days to ensure they do not bring illness to tank. Other than ADF/ACF; most frogs and toads will need life moving foods to get a feeding response. Some can be trained to eat from tweezers and respond to moving "prey" by your hand movement. Re-homing a frog every time you go on vacation might not work out right, and you can't leave them on feeders like fish. Options available are to find someone to care for them while you are gone and I recommend that someone has amphibian or reptile experience.

Think the best option you have now is to set-up a tank for ADFs. Good luck !
