Congrats on the healthy old frog and the new frog
Even assuming that's 2" and not 2', that would be too close in size for me. While cannibalism isn't the norm for these frogs, half the size is still in the very real danger zone (disturbing photographic evidence for the strong of stomach https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/hoebel/w...42(1)85-86.pdf). The small one just has to be small enough that the big one thinks it can eat the small one for a potentially bad and stressful encounter.
