They are both doing very well. Laputa has, for the past I'd say 2-3 weeks been the color she was when I got her. Rarely has she been the dark brown that I have seen her at. I feel it in my gut that Laputa is ready for a larger home. When I let her roam the empty tank (which I actually did put a decoration in there just for her next to her hosp tank, it looked like she missed being able to hide in a more "well hidden area" and I felt bad for keeping her in that tiny tank for a long period of time. I've seen Marven eat the pinhead crickets I give him and he even eats the calcium covered. And, with success, Laputa has been eating them as well! I've been using them in her tank for the last few days and she's been gobbling them up! I even watched her eat them. I will, however, more than likely put her in a tank at night inside her enclosure because I still want to make sure that she is eating. This is my only concern and being able to watch her this last few months, I know what she looks like and acts when she doesn't eat, she has been more mobile than I have seen her in a very long time. She's ready to graduate her hosp tank!
Besides, if you had this home wouldn't you want to explore?
She seems happy!
As far as size, I believe Laputa is about 2' and Marven looks to be about 1" I know he is half her size, but I dont think she could get him into her mouth.... And thanks again for everyone helps getting Laputa to feeling better!!
Just because he is super adorable!

Congrats on the healthy old frog and the new frog
Even assuming that's 2" and not 2', that would be too close in size for me. While cannibalism isn't the norm for these frogs, half the size is still in the very real danger zone (disturbing photographic evidence for the strong of stomach https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/hoebel/w...42(1)85-86.pdf). The small one just has to be small enough that the big one thinks it can eat the small one for a potentially bad and stressful encounter.
Amy,
Brian is , of course , right. Laputa looks bigger than 2"? Marven is still too small ! Continue to feed him well. He'll catch up before you know it
They look real great! It's great that you will be able to share all of this experience with other members going through similar situations.
