Is this a wound? If so, make sure you keep an eye on this so it doesn't become something worse. Also if this frog is over 1.5 inch, I would say female because of the light colored throat.

wow I didn't notice that I'll inspect him when I get home he was quite active after I gave her, her new home. seemed super excited.
I'm shocked I didn't see that earlier
CJ and Gail are 100% right, though. I definitely think you should pick up some Neosporin WITHOUT PAINKILLER, because believe me, having a sick frog is not fun, and can take a long time to cure. If you need advice on how to apply the neosporin, and what kind of problem we've got here I can contact some people I know who are experienced with treating frog infections/ailments, and they can guide you through the process.
Definitely keep an eye on him, and the bump.

ok it is a her as far as I can tell I named her jellybean she has a small very small red bump in between her thumb and fore finger. she hates being touched as of right now. but I can get her calm after a few minutes. how do I apply this and keep it on her she might not let me
one thing on the wound jelly does have full dexterity of all her fingers weather or not she want me to hold her to try to move them.
Seriously try your best not to hold her...the stress of you holding a wild caught frog..will make that infection worse and eventually death... I will get Lynn...one of our better frog forum moderators to help you with medical treatments.... Once you get the NEOSPORIN "WITHOUT PAIN RELIEF" Apply it twice a day to the infected area using a Q-TIP . LYNN will have some better advice on medical treatment... Ill send her a private now =)...GOOD LUCK =)
it does look like she had hurt hand when she was younger. and that that is whats left from the natural healing. she has a scar that goes across her wrist and ends at that small red bump that doesn't look like it hurts her at all. im not trying to hold her but to get a good look at her hand i kind of have to hold her to isolate her hand. she has calmed down quite a bit.
do you'll think that bump is harmful to her. its actually very small and she has been quite active lately.
It can be..just do the neosporin treatments and monitor it.
OK but she isn't going to like it.
also it kind of looks like a scar that runs across her wrist same hand
yeah I know I'll have to grab some tomorrow and then deal with her at lunch tomorrow. and how do I add a tag saying I own the type species she is
Because we have see ALOT worse here lol
