Is this a wound? If so, make sure you keep an eye on this so it doesn't become something worse. Also if this frog is over 1.5 inch, I would say female because of the light colored throat.

WOW GAIL!! GOOD CATCH.... If that is a wound Joe treat her with NEOSPORIN "WITHOUT PAIN RELIEF". MAKE SURE YOU GET THE ONE WITHOUT PAIN RELIEF!! The pain relief portion is toxic to frogs, but neosporin works well and is common practice with frog related injuries.

    I'm shocked I didn't see that earlier

CJ and Gail are 100% right, though. I definitely think you should pick up some Neosporin WITHOUT PAINKILLER, because believe me, having a sick frog is not fun, and can take a long time to cure. If you need advice on how to apply the neosporin, and what kind of problem we've got here I can contact some people I know who are experienced with treating frog infections/ailments, and they can guide you through the process.

Definitely keep an eye on him, and the bump.

Seriously try your best not to hold her...the stress of you holding a wild caught frog..will make that infection worse and eventually death... I will get Lynn...one of our better frog forum moderators to help you with medical treatments.... Once you get the NEOSPORIN "WITHOUT PAIN RELIEF" Apply it twice a day to the infected area using a Q-TIP . LYNN will have some better advice on medical treatment... Ill send her a private now =)...GOOD LUCK =)

it does look like she had hurt hand when she was younger. and that that is whats left from the natural healing. she has a scar that goes across her wrist and ends at that small red bump that doesn't look like it hurts her at all. im not trying to hold her but to get a good look at her hand i kind of have to hold her to isolate her hand. she has calmed down quite a bit.

do you'll think that bump is harmful to her. its actually very small and she has been quite active lately.

I'm not sure about the humidity, but I am 100% certain someone else here will give you advice on that. If you want, I can contact some of the experts on here to give you a bit of advice too.

Yes, that's an American Green Tree frog (Hyla Cinerea.) They make very fun and interesting pets.

Make sure any crickets you give him are smaller than the space between his eyes. For tree frogs, I'd recommend dusting the crickets 1x a week with both a Calcium mix, and a Multi-vitamin mix. You can buy both of these products at your average petstore in the Reptiles section. In case you don't know how to dust, it's very simple: Place the crickets in a bag, place a pinch of the dusting mix in with them, seal the top of the bag, shake the bag until the crickets are either fully or partially coated in the dusting mix, and then simply place the crickets in the enclosure.

Also, I must strongly enforce this, but be VERY careful about closing the lid of the tank at every feeding/handling/cleaning/etc. These guys are master escape artists, and believe me, having a runaway frog is not fun.

I do recommend putting the wallpaper on the sides as well for the first few months, because it helps lessen stress in frogs, and makes them feel more secure. You may want to pick up a cheap humidity tester or Hygrometer for the tank, as well as a thermometer. Otherwise, your setup is perfect.

Oh, and Welcome to the Frog Forum !
and why is this a nice setup I took all of 45 minutes to do this

    Very true.

Your setup is well thought-out, planned, and furnished, especially since you are a beginner. My original setup for my Bullfroglet and greenfroglet was not half the quality yours was. Of course, they're both in proper setups now.
