150 Gallon Oceanic Tank - Edmonton Pet Classifieds - Kijiji Edmonton Canada.
Rescuing these frogs this weekend. Quite the odd stock list in this setup.
That stocking list is awful! I hate seeing singular specimens of a schooling species.
Can't wait to see photos of your new frogs
72 Gallon Bow - ACF and GF tank.
26 Gallon Bow - ACF tank.
20 Gallon Long - ACF tank.

How exactly is this a "rescue"? Is the frog sick or in danger?
I would consider this under the category of rescue in the view that the frogs are currently not being housed or cared for properly. The current owner seems to know little about their care which means who ever he pawned them off on was likely going to be told inaccurate care information.
By taking the frogs and seeing that they receive proper care, Tony is definitely improving their lives.

I would consider it a rescue both for the frogs and the fish ... I really only know about angels and cories out of the fish list ... but this guy is an idiot. The ONLY bright side is its a decently sized tank.
I thought you were being a smartass. Just the fact that the puffer is in the tank is giveaway that the frogs need a new home. Never mind the filth, gravel, the inability to call them what they actually are or sex them. I ca assume they have been eating junk as well. Only thing good I see is the nice big tank.
Agree, with that Figure 8 Puffer in there, those frogs where in danger (the other fish too). Puffers are notorious fin nippers if small and will eat or take chunks out of pretty much anything in their tanks when grown. Other fish are mislabeled too. What he calls a Discus appears a Severum and there is a medium TinFoil Barb in tank too. I do like the Blue cichlid, too bad is too far from me to rescue it
. To OP; good job helping out those frogs
!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
whole talk is one huge disaster, im not sure why people can't google this stuff to see half those fish are large schooling fish, the puffer is extremely aggressive and capable of damaging about every fish/frog in that tank.. ect ect could go on all day on what's wrong with that tank. save them frogs tony!
Looks like I can get them on Saturday the 20th. Dude works up North and won't be back till the end of next week.

It is sounding like this might not happen now. Says he has a buyer that wants everything..... Poor frogs.
lame...... :\
They bring them in randomly. The store you mentioned closed years ago. Pet Paradise is located on Pembroke area, at intersection between Virginia Beach Boulevard and Kellam Rd.: Pet Paradise . Place is a bit dusty due to birds; but IMO the reptile/amphib/spider section is superior to Animal Jungle.

Thanks Carlos, I will definitely be making a stop there.
Jenna/Mike- I am still hoping I end up with them. We'll see.
Hope is lost, the new owner has taken them. : (
on a side note my wife is happy about it. She is going to be in for a shock when I get my Borealis this summer on vacation and a new tank...lol
