I have just got my first African bullfrog he/she is about 3 inches roughly my previous experience has all been with tree frogs. Ive set his viv up using my own soil mix and large water bowl. Having no experience of the type of frog my question is, is it normally that it has burrowed with about 2 inches of substrate over its head? I was expecting it to keep its eyes and nose out of the ground

welcome to the forum! and yes we would love to see the pictures!
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
Thanks here is the couple of pics i have so far
GRABibus is right. The substrate you want is Coconut Fiber not Husk.
That pic was a temporary set up till i sorted his main viv its actually orchid bark. I never feed any my frogs in the viv anyway but thanks
his viv has topsoil/cocofiber/sand mix with a small amount of the orchid bark
