    Default Burrowing question

I have just got my first African bullfrog he/she is about 3 inches roughly my previous experience has all been with tree frogs. Ive set his viv up using my own soil mix and large water bowl. Having no experience of the type of frog my question is, is it normally that it has burrowed with about 2 inches of substrate over its head? I was expecting it to keep its eyes and nose out of the ground

This is normal. The Pyxi is adjusting to its new environment.

Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!

Your substrate worries me a little bit.
It seems to be Coco Husk ? If she swallows a piece, there is a big risk of impaction.

GRABibus is right. The substrate you want is Coconut Fiber not Husk.
