Help I have foam in my terrarium

Hi,
I have a terrarium with a water fountain with 2 dart frogs in it. Last night the water got quite foamy suddenly. Does any one know the cause of this? The frogs seem fine. I have un plugged the water pump and the foam has gone away. Don't know if I should plug it back in or not? Any ideas or advice?

Dissolved organics can create a film on water that will lead to bubbles and foam. Are there any filtering materials in the water system? If so, clean the pads in dechlorinated water. If no filter, increase water change frequency .

Try flushing out the water more often...that would do the trick...
like carlos said...lotsa stuff floatin in ur water...and i am sure u are not running a filter in it right ?
