    Yeah they wouldn't like the shallow substrate either. Since Danedelions have Taproots.

    I too think they would rot, then you´d get nasty fungus growing. The worst thing is of course they are a weed and we all know how that would end up, if they did live you´d have nothing but dandies trampled all over your tank.
    It is better to choose plants for vivs, or even have a few water plants.
