Default Confirmation of H. Versicolor and eggs

I found these in my pool. As I have been wanting one I saved everyone before the chemical Geordie would have occurred.

I am 99% sure I have an H. versicolor and eggs but want to make sure.

I am in northeastern Ohio so I don't think we have the other species here.

you sure have a them. I had them lay 50-80 cluster of eggs in my pool last night. They are peaceful creatures but o only take their eggs from my pool than release them once they turn to frogs.

Congrats on your finding. Would recommend covering the enclosure sides and adding more branches and some artificial/natural foliage to prevent wild frog from getting stressed .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I found a female to go with my male or at least I am pretty sure it's a female. It's much much bigger than my male, it has an all white chin.

    Here are some pictures
