New Tadpole Keeper Questions

Hiya! I'm Madelyn, and I am 14 years old. Recently, I came to get some tadpoles from a neighbor's unkept pool. As far as I can tell, they are chorus frog tadpoles, though I may be confused since I'm new to this. They eat the boiled-frozen lettuce that I give them, and they are doing alright, besides the fact that they are way overcrowded. See, I only have one 15 gallon tank, and close to 100 tadpoles. I know it's very overcrowded (and unhealthy), but there's nowhere to keep more tanks or bigger tanks. So, I guess my questions here are:
How many tadpoles is it okay to keep in a 15 gal. tank?
What can I do with the unwanted tadpoles?
(I'd rather not dump them back into the pool or anything like that because the pool is set to be pumped/cleaned in a week or so.)

tadpoles have been known to have a large population in small areas. the more room the better that is rule of thumb.. if they are a small species that you expect 100 in a 15 gal tank may be alright IF you can properly maintain cleanliness. a 20 gal tank may be more optimal if you can afford it they are very cheap. they need comfort. (plants for hiding places.) If i were you i would transport any unwanted tadpoles to a nearby creek, river, or pond. or you can keep them until they morph and release them in the environment near where you found them. many may die of natural causes big reason why frogs lay so many eggs. My good friend CJ on this site raises hundreds of tadpoles a month he can give you the best info on your case. Much better info than i can.
