Okay do you have any suggestions wether to leave the cricket for him to hunt Down or dangle it in his face. Should he be showing aggressive behavior because when I tapped him around his lip he didn't open his mouth he just tried to get away. I've been making contact a lot with him in the past 3 days. Could that be the problem

Should I bring him back to petsmart and buy one online

From a breeder. He seems to not use his legs much. I think he may be sick.

I really don't want to bring him back

Well, get his cage settings correct, don't handle him for a few days, and let the crickets crawl around (don't leave them in for more than a few hours; they can bite the frog). If you've been handling him, that's stressing him out more.
Don't forcefeed unless it looks like the frog is losing weight (how long has it been?) because that is extremely stressful for them.
Does it look like he can't use his legs, or is just not being very active?
I am also a new keeper of pacman frog and I have never seen him shut his eyes unless he is swallowing prey.
and he doesn't get out of his hole unless he leaves a duce behind LOL
He just went into his burrow. I threw 2 crickets in their last night and one is gone but I had to leave for school and didn't have time to check good. Should I leave him alone today and I'm thinking about buying some reptiboost because of him not eating. Today will be going on 4 days

This little one is still a baby and needs to eat almost every day. (when healthy)
I also travel a lot and since he normally burrows to the point where only his eyes are above the substrate
I don't think the crickets are a danger to him.
So after he has had his fill 3 to 5 crickets or dubia nymphs I leave 4 to 5 crickets in the enclosure.
for him to snack on at his leisure.
And I keep a small cricket carrier under his enclosure. it has two black tubes that the crickets crawl into
so all my wife has to do before she goes to bed is to grab a tube and shake a few into the enclosure before she
goes to sleep each night and he does the rest.
Now since your little one is not well you will need to keep doing the soaks.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
I was thinking of another thread of a similar problem and a pedolyte solution was recommended for the frog to have a soak in it.
to give the sick frog some energy.
I let mine soak in plain warm 85F de-chloranted water when I spot clean the substrate every other week or so depends on how many little presents he has left for me.
I take him out and make a warm 85F de-chloranted water bath that is just deep enough to touch the under side of his chin
when he is sitting up.
I wrap a towel around it since the container is clear to keep him calm and 99% of the time in about 5 min or so he will
have a good swim and a BM.
While he is in the water I add water to the substrate if it is too dry. and I smooth out all the little craters he has made.
loosen up the substrate so it isn't packed down so he can easily burrow into it.
Change the water in his dish for that day.
Then I put him back in and he will hop around and find a comfortable spot and burrow into the substrate as he turns around
in a circle. I will try to make a video of him doing the circle burrow, I think it is cute.
He doesn't complain one bit during the process. Like some growl and hiss. He doesn't try to bite me at all.
he will sit contently in my hand and some times doesn't want me to put him down.
I hope he doesn't grow out of that.
no guys, do not do anything if a frog is not eating for 4 days, whatever you do will stress him out even more and he won't eat for longer. do not do any soaks, force feeding, handling etc unless it is absolutely necessary!
when a frog is not eating the reason is:
- improper conditions
- stress, stress and some more stress!
and very rarely it is not eating because he is sick.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
I think he was a little constipated and needed a good poo.
