    Default Baby Pacman Wont Eat

I recently got a baby packman, he's about the size of a half dollar coin. I don't have any heating scorch on him, and i keep him at room temperature.Name: photo.jpg

70 degrees is too low for a day temperature.
You must raise it between 78.8 and 84.2 degrees during the day and between 73.4 and 77 degrees during the night.
Humidity must be between 70% and 80%.Substrate must be moist.

This could be a first explanation why she/he doesn't eat.

ZooMed's Mini ReptiTherm Mat Heater can be affixed to a plastic enclosure back or side to try to get that critter keeper temperature up. Please try to answer the questions as you can, in order to have clear picture of your frog's situation .

Yes that is in inches. I'm going to petco today to buy a zoo med under the tank heater. Also going to get more calcium supplement. The lady that worked at petsmart(where I got him from) recommended large crickets . Should I get smaller ones?

Place the UTH on the side and use medium to large crickets. Earthworms are best though if he will eat them. Carlos has you covered.

My Pacman is 3 in. and takes full size crickets and night crawlers measuring 4-6 in. Only heat mat recommended by manufacturer for plastic enclosures is the ZooMed Mini. Good luck !

You can try feeding frog after sunset (they are nocturnal) or early in the morning (when they normally get fed at the pet shop).

You can train you frog to eat at night or very early morning like Carlos said. Mine starrt digging in to sleep at aboug 5:30 am, but you can train them to eat then. Just remember that the frog needs a 12 hour day/night cycle.

Okay, e didn't eat. I just tried. Should I put a light on a timer just like I do with my whites. I threw a few crickets in their just now to see if he would eat em. How long does it take them to get used to their home. Also is his home to bigg for him at this size

His home may be a little to big. I start mine out in medium critter keepers. It can take them anywhere from 1 hour to a week for them to adjust to new surroundings.

Yes you can use lights on a timer. Set for 12 hours of day and 12 of night.

He won't eat. Should they got to sleep during the day with their eyes shut. My frog doesn't do that

Mine don't shut their eyes closed either; it's more like a squint.

Okay do you have any suggestions wether to leave the cricket for him to hunt Down or dangle it in his face. Should he be showing aggressive behavior because when I tapped him around his lip he didn't open his mouth he just tried to get away. I've been making contact a lot with him in the past 3 days. Could that be the problem
