Sure do
Note that this best done with two people. One to hold the frog so it cannot back away and the other to do the force feeding. You will need to have the dose of Repta Boost ready before hand. This is also best done on the floor with layers of moist paper towels spread out for the frog to be placed on so that there is no way for it to jump from a high place and hurt itself. Lock all other pets away so no harm comes to the frog. This means dogs, cats, ect.
You will be using a plastic spoon positioned upsidedown to gently pry his mouth open. Place the spoon between the upper and lower jaw on the side of the mouth. Positioned in the middle between the hinge of the jaws and the snout. You will need to apply gentle downward pressure while sliding down towards the snout. This normaly stimulates the frog to open it's mouth. You will habe to quickly and carefully insert the seringe and squit it's contents into the frog's mouth. The frog will do the rest. You will need to do this daily until he can eat on his own.
oh.. back to the store for plastic spoons..
I keep checking back for his progress report. So worried about him
Me too![]()
it seems that Grif and Carlos got you covered.
a few Q for you:
-how big he was when you got him a year ago? how much did he grow since you have it?
- how his poop looked like when you last saw it?
careful with reptiboost, do not squirt big quantities fast, make sure a frog is swallowing it.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
