    What filter do you use I have a half and half setup and need a stronger filter?

    It is a fluval 305.
    It works well, but I would still recommend getting the biggest you can (within reason).

    How often do you have to clean your frogs water? I clean mine every 5 days.

    Maybe 25% a week, though it depends. If the ammonia is high, I'll do a water change sooner. It's difficult to rely on a filtered, cycled system to take care of the ammonia, since the frog won't always be in the water producing it resulting in the die off of good bacteria when there's no ammonia to "fix". So, regular water changes will always be a part of your husbandry no matter how large a filter you get. Right now he's been underground for about a month, so I haven't had to do any water changes. Water has been 0ppm for ammonia, so when he goes back in to **** in the water, I'm probably going to have to do plenty of water changes for a while until the system re-cycles.
