Does any have pictures they can show me, on how they have their screen top set up to hold in humidity? I was going to use plexi glass..but i rather try something outside of that. Foil? I'm feeling stressed now.
ok ok..i used the wrap and this is how mine looks! Now should I place this temp and humidity thing at the end under my heat lamp or the cool end? King tapo is buried anyway lol i'm getting the hang up this and yes i see the humidity is low. also should i put the probe underneath the eco earth or what? oh and how are the temps looking? I have a dimmer on my fixture with a 50 watt night bulb and it's on/.

Why use screen tops? I use the glass tops from petco on all my tanks. They work the best with no guessing on humidity and the plastic piece that goes on the back of the glass can be drilled if your worried about ventilation. The only time I vent my tanks is when I'm trying to lower the humidity to help slow down breeding. With the glass tops the tank stays 80-90% on humidity. The only problem I have found is that they hold in heat from the lights but by using a bakers rack to hold the tanks it allows air to circulate around the tank cooling it in the process. Best of luck. This is one of the racks in the frog room.
sorry just trying to help. The glass tops are only a few bucks more than the screen ones but if you have screen laying around I can understand.
Over the last 11 years my collection and experience has grown for sure. I started out with one frog also and have used screen tops in the beginning. I was only trying to offer better advice than plastic wrap, sorry if I came across as being rude that was never my intention. Again best of luck with your frog.
