    Default Poop question - sorry

Does anyone know what the colour should be of FBT poop??

Horrid question I know , but I have managed to spot my female FBT pooping the last three times, and managed to 'collect' it in a turkey baster.

I was curious to see what I could find in it, but when I squashed it on kitchen roll it's always blood coloured, with bits of hopper remains in it.

This has worried me - but is it normal to be blood coloured??

She's eating ok, is active & looks fine.

It should be dark brown, basically the same colour of moist coconut bedding.

If its red like blood, a vet needs to be seen.

Is it a dark reddish-brown or a blood red as Kurt said? If it just dark reddish-brown it is ok, especially if you didn't notice it until you started playing with it. But if it is definately a red color than I agree with Kurt.

Its definately red, I was a bit shocked actually. Is it due to parasites do you think??

Maybe, best to have a vet check it out. A fresh fecal sample will be needed, nothing more than 24 hours old.
