Well, here it is. We'll see if the pothos take. They are cuttings from a larger plant. They've been watered and turned towards my sun window for the weekend. Crossing fingers that they survive the stress of repotting.

I have ABG mix in the pots with the sphagnum on top of each pot. Watering daily
. So far so good. I'm not going to put the frogs in until I monitor the plants for a week or so.
I used the pothos cuttings because I wanted large vines with big leaves. It would take awhile to grow them that big from a plant. Its like educated cheating
. The root system on that baby was awesome. There's no way I could have used the whole plant. It's a big potted hanging plant. I do hope they hold. I took a big chunk of roots with each.

I think I just found my inspiration for my first vertical tank. By the gods, I love your work and technique!

Ha ha! Thanks! It's very easy to do, just takes some time for drying of layers.

Heather, what did you use to cover your 2 rock ledges? I'm starting the planning phase for my exoterra and this looks so inspirationally awesome!!!

Hi Lisa, it's just pink panther foam cut into the shape you like, then coated in 100% silicone. I used gray GE silicone II. Not the mildew resistant kind. I think it's windows and basements type. I can look for you.
Thanks!
