So I got to thinking about sexing small frogs, and I noticed a distinct difference when these frogs are the same (small) size... jaw size. Some of these frogs have massive jaws/heads in comparison to the rest of their bodies as froglets while the others are more "averaged" in appearance. My female had that "averaged appearance". Is it possible that head size in comparison to the rest of the body could be a strong potential indicator? I'm not talking about when they're 2-3 months old, I'm talking fresh froglets.
Just something I've been thinking about. I haven't seen any other massive distinctive features. Obviously coloration and all that is the same when they're that small so that can't determine anything. I tried to get a picture of two at the local store, but they sold the "big headed" one when I got back to buy them both and test my theory.
