Got my other tank to complete my little office setup. Going to try a different drain method this time. Going to use a little river type deal where the bulkhead is easy to get to and used for keeping the river level steady. Using the bulkhead for a mistking reservoir bucket as my bulkhead on this one. Much smaller than I typically use. Tank is now in the garage with cork panels adhering. Going to do the same back drop with cork panels. This time I'm going to use the epiweb branches again and try to take up alot of the background with them covered in moss to kind of make it look like a continuation from the other tank.

So coincidental that you mention the protean tanks. I checked out their display with Lynn at the last White Plains show. Im considering ordering 4 12x12x18s from them.
How do yo like the tanks so far? Have you noticed anything you'd like to see changed?
I like them. Good thing about them is Jason will make any size you want and will dry any size holes you want.

I've been emailing with Jason today. I finally decided to order a pair of 11x18x24 for my southern variabilis group and the other will probably be for a trio of pumilio.
You get euro vents and dendro tops?
I did get the dendrotops but passed on the euro vents. My other tanks only have top vents and the glass is clear.

I love more. More tanks more frogs more bugs. Downside is less $$$$.![]()
You have seen a dendro top right? I highly recommend the euro vent with it

I went by the description. I haven't actually seen it. How FF proof is the euro vent?
Flies can't get through it. The place they get through is the doors
