If you provide them a well balanced diet you'll be golden, no need to feed mammals. Maybe look into a roach colony and feed them a good staple of night crawlers and roaches.

The way I see it feeding them a mammal is purely a "treat" item and not required. Not worth the risk to me. Plus mice/rats are cute I fed two fuzzies and the squeaking as they got eaten was just too much for me.

Right now I have a colony of dubia,hissers,and lateralis roaches. I'm thinking about adding one more species this week. Plus I buy night crawlers by the 1/2 flat (250) worms at a time to feed my 5 pyxies a well rounded diet.
