Maybe I am just worrying too much but I find that my frogs sometimes frantically claw at the side or bottom of the tank as if they are trying to get out. Is this a natural thing that they do or are they unhappy with something?
I have 2 in a 5 gallon tank. I am trying to decide if maybe they need some more friends? Or maybe they need more hiding places or plants? I have a small little house, decoration, and a fake plant.
I really want them to feel comfortable and I am not sure what I should be doing. If you have any tips, please let me know.
Thanks!!!
Hello and welcome to FF! What frogs do you have; ACF or ADF? Hope they are dwarfs because if ACF, a 5 gal. tank is small for even one grown adult.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Sorry, yes, they are African Dwarf frogs.
Thanks for the welcome!!!!
Maybe this will help check all their basic needs are being met: http://www.frogforum.net/care-sheet-...warf-frog.html.

Hi and welcome, could you attach a picture of the set up? My beardies claw at the glass because most reptiles don't have the perception of glass could be the same for frogs?
