Hi guys, I have a heat mat on the outside left of Normans tank so where is the best place to put both temp and hygro gauge? If there has been a thread on this before could someone point me in that direction please.

For my Pacman's, I locate the gauges on the back wall centerline and couple inches from substrate. Most of Pacman's I had bury around that area so it's accurate reading of their surroundings. If "stick on" gauges, do clean glass area with bit of alcohol pad before applying them to wall.

Thanks Carlos, I'm having a woeful time with my temps, I need to ditch this heat mat as its only a 3 watt. I can't get past 70f in the middle.
70F as daytime max is too low for a Pacman Paul. At steady low temps, they suffer damage to Kidney and Lymph systems leading to edema. After symptoms occur, they can be corrected by proper temps and lower humidity; but the internal organ damage is permanent and frogs usually have shorter than normal lives. Recommend use a red heat lamp 24 or ceramic heat emitter to bring temps to suitable range.
