Hello everyone!
I recentnly found some tadpoles in a very remote region of the Gawler Ranges (Eyre Peninsula South Australia). They had hatched in a tiny rock pool after 24 hours of heavy rain, however the pool had nearly dried up and there were hundreds of tadpoles. I took some home to care for them and to identify the species. A photo is attached. It's not great quality sorry. I believe it's a Trilling frog (Neobatrachus centralis) or a Burrowing frog (Neobatrachus pictus). Anyone with some experience here want to weight in?! ThanksAlso I have only ever kept tree frogs and am unfamiliar with how to care for frogs from arid regions. I assume i need to provide them with mostly soft dirt for burrowing and some water. If anyone could help me out with feeding regime, tank size etc I'd really appreciate it!
Cheers!
