    Default Question.

I have an exo terra glass terrarium 18 x 18x 24 high. Right now I have two white lips and two dumpys (dumpys and tank given to me). I just found out that the frog in my little terrarium ended up being a dumpy not a big eye. He is now big enough to go with the big boys and want to know if my terrarium is big enough for one more. I have a home for him if it isn't but would really like to keep him cuz I raised him from a baby. Thank You AmyChris

    Welcome to Frog Forum!
What size is your other home? If not bigger than an 18x18x24, I suggest you get another 18x18x24 and house your whites separate from the white lips. Mixing species is never advised (especially in this size tank). The frogs will eventually poison one another
I personally believe 2 frogs in each is max occupancy. But, because you have 3 whites, it would be fine to house them together and the 2 white lips together, in two separate tanks.
Curious, how long have these frogs lived together?

They have been together for about 2 years now. I know about not mixing the frogs but with all the reading I did it said the white lips and dumpys will be fine together. The other tank is 12 x 12 x 18 so that is gonna be for a couple small tree frogs.

I have never read that the two species are fine together, sorry.
the 12x12x18 is not large enough for 2 treefrogs, maybe one, and only temporarily.
Maybe check craigslist or classifieds for used aquariums or vivariums? Keep the 3 white's (dumpys) in the 18x18x24 and the 2 white lips in the 12x12x18, until you can get adequate room for all? That's what I would aim for....
I'm sorry I don't have the answer you're looking for
    Good luck

It was someone on this forum that said the whites and dumpys don't have the poison that's why it was ok for them to be together. I also seen it on other forums as well.

white's tree frogs (dumpys) are different species than white lipped tree frogs.
    Similar care, but different *species*
    They should be housed separately
