Default Need White's Frog Help FAST!

So my roommate is in Boulder right now at PetCo and they have a Blue-Eyed White’s Tree Frog and it’s beautiful and the same size as Keahi, my Australian White’s Tree Frog. It’s on sale for $29 and I can’t decide whether or not to get it.. Here’s some things I’m worried about, please help me decide! I need to let her know in the next half hour!
    YES get him:

    • He’s beautiful
    • Same size as Keahi
    • On Sale
    • Kind of rare to find in CO
    • My dad will take care of him while I’m away for the summer
    • I could get one at a reptile show but they may not have them
    • Only one available

    NO don’t get him:

    • Don’t really want to spend $29
    • He has to be moved in the car an hour today and an hour Sunday - stress?
    • Can he and Keahi live together? (Exo-Terra 18x18x24)
    • I’m already getting a crested gecko next year
    • I told myself I wouldnt buy animals from PetCo anymore

Please someone with frog experience help me!

Do you have already or can set-up now a hospital tank to quarantine new frog for 30 days? If not; would pass on it until can do so. Last thing you want is to bring a sick contagious frog home and get Keahi sick too .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Hi Carlos, thanks for replying so fast!
I do have a tank and things to put in it from my old frog, I could set it up in time for the new frog to move in in 2 hours. However it would have to move from Boulder to Fort Collins (1 hour) today and then again from fort Collins to Broomfield on Sunday (also 1 hour) do you think it could handle that?

I'm sorry but can't predict how the transfers are going to stress or affect frog. One hour does not sound like much if frog is comfortable and safe in transport container and the temperature is within it's accepted parameters .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

    I hope I'm in time.
    I agree with Carlos!

    They are beautiful!
    I'm not so sure I agree with the "don't buy from there" issues ? ? ? ? ?
They are going to continue to have frogs !
Sadly people make impulsive purchases - I don't believe your plans or thoughts about the possible purchase are impulsive.
BUT- I would do a fecal, quarantine of course, and not put a new frog with your healthy one until fecals are clean!

Lets us know what you do ....and of course we will be needing photos.......... please
