What is the best nutrition for north american millipedes like narceus americanus? Any help would be appreciated.

I dont even think they eat fresh veggies i catch some of em last time also but yea it dont eat and just died but i had once successed but also died I dont know why , What you can give are rotting wet vegetables and rotting stuffs and decaying , Crumbs of bread will also do ( but they seem not to eat it )
You can check this one out :

But i released mine already cause some dies quickly.... And they will get stressed...
My millipedes are good eaters, they will eat fresh fruits and vegetables but they prefer rotting. I was wondering about supplements. What kind of supplements do you recommend?
How can I contact him?
Orange would be good also for vit.c lol

just wondering are your millipedes wild caught?
Hi there froglover9. usually dead leaves and bark are good food
for millipedes, ive kept mine for a while now and just collect leaves
from deciduous trees (of course this only applies if they are wild caught)
Suppliments i would use are calcium supps from zoo med and exo terra
and ive heard of vionate suppliment, its not specifically for reptiles but
there are people who use it, i dont know much about it though.

Thanks for the advice. Is calcium supplements good enough or should I give them vitamin supplements too? So far I dust all food with juarasipet calcium supplement.
usually calcium suppliments should be enough, you can put the others on if you want though

Thanks for the great advice.
Would these be helpful in my planted tomato frog tank? I've heard of some species of millipedes helping with the clean up along with woodlice and springtails. What other bugs would help out in a tank without being harmful to the frogs or plants? Thanks
I dont think millipedes would be good with frogs because all millipedes excrete a toxic poison
whenever handled or touched, wood lice and springtails would work best.
