where would i get the night crawlers from?

You can get them from Wal-Mart , make sure they are unscented.

Night crawlers are available at some petshops, Walmarts sports section, and tackle and bait stores. If bought from last 2 ensure have no additives. They are not cheap, and if using lots, recommend culturing them. Can get materials, videos, cultures online (i.e. Amazon); just search "worm culture" or similar in Google or Youtube .

They are around 5 dollars for 25. Depending on age of the pyxie in question and numbers (which OP is asking about a single animal) That should last 1-2 weeks, so 2.50 a week. Doesn't seem too expensive to me. Earthworm cultures can easily fail depending on what zone you live in as well.

Edit: Carlos, do you culture earthworms? I'm just curious..
