Thanks for all the advice, will get melafix to treat it. Thats the problem, because i couldn't think of anyway which my pacman would hurt himself on, less he brushed his legs against the water dish. Will update the results soon
Agree with previous recommendations to treat as wound in hospital tank until healed. If it does not improve (or actually worsen) in a weeks time; another possibility is that your frog has internal nematodes and one is living under the skin.
If that is the case; will need to take to veterinary for surgical removal and antibiotic. Read in your other thread you are/were also feeding it bull frogs. If those were wild caught; that is a possible parasite source and would also recommend a fecal test at vet. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
good job on husbandry! i would just may be offer variety of food, rather then just roaches.
it would be great if you are able to take a better pic, cos right now i can't see a thing clearly, it can be anything, infection or parasite or something more serious or it may be nothing. I would not suggest to treat for anything based on those pics.
melafix won't hurt even it is not bacterial, but i would place him in hospital set up until healthy. if you fed him bullfrogs, you need to go to vet to get fecal test done asap.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
The one and only time i fed him bullfrogs was when i first got him, and it was a month ago. Stupid mistake that i made. Anyway i have house him in a hospital tank with wet paper towels. Will be getting melafix later in the day for him to soak.
My sincere apology regarding the photo, my stupid phone just kept focusing on my fingers instead of my pacman's leg. Tried a few photos today again. I didnt wanna stress the frog out, i have already handled him quite a few times yesterday while i was changing his substrate and cleaning his tank. So this was the best photo i could get. From what i see, it looks like dried blood.
