    Default why is my rub gettin mold in it im worried

    Hi I changed my substrate from coco fibre to top soil again but im having problems with mold !? Its getting every were this is why I was using coco bricks my frog loves the coco brick lol but the cane toads rub is getting really mouldy so today im going to change substrate back to coco soil am I doing something wrong with the soil its top soil sterile any help please im at whits end thanks for reading oh im using a rub at moment for cane toad

    In my experience mold is going to happen if your tank is humid, so if you have pets that need humidity, you're going to have to spot clean here and there. If it's really out of hand maybe try deep cleaning the whole thing? I'm not sure in cases where it's really bad, unfortunately.

    try getting some springtails, they may keep the mold at bay. i have some but it comes and goes, nothing to worry about
